What We Do
The last 33 years have been a wonderful journey from the humble beginnings in a garage to our current workshop in Lowry with owners Terry & Stephanie continuing the Abacus legacy
We believe that we can elevate every boring space by building beyond
the box, where your imagination meets our craftsmanship
Every day we work by our core values:

Our Software
At Abacus, we use a process that combines traditional
craftsmanship and high tech machinery.
This allows us to build refined custom cabinets with the quality, detail, and care of the handiwork and the precision of our computer-controlled machines.
We fabricate 100% custom cabinets for your kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, closet, garage, or for your entire home.
Beam Saw
Our software reduces the number of errors to nearly zero and allows great visualization of the final product before any material is wasted.
CNC
With our CNC it’s possible to achieve far better accuracy and precision than a human operator. It helps us increase productivity.
Edge Bander
Our edge bander puts the finishing touches on our case work and allows us to edge band up to 3 milimeters.
Rover CNC
Our Rover increases our manufacturing capacity thanks to its automatic alignment and tool change without intervention between operations.
Our Commitment
to the Environment
We are committed to being environmentally conscious—in both our products and our manufacturing processes.
Our packaging for delivery is recycled and recyclable. Our machinery software is designed to utilize our sheet goods to their maximum capacity to reduce waste and whatever is leftover, we donate it. We also offer water based finishes, which have no harmful odors and fumes and are non-flammable.
We also take pride in offering environmentally friendly sheet goods, including:
-
Wood veneers that are FSC® Certified, TSCA VI and LEED® v4 eligible.
-
TFL panels that are naturally sustainable thanks to their ability to store carbon, the renewable resources used as a raw material and the circular production processes used to manufacture them.
-
Tafisa® panels, which have been granted Eco-Certified Composite Grademark Program (ECC) Certification by the Composite Panel Association (CPA), demonstrating an exemplary commitment to the sustainable use of wood fiber and to environmental stewardship.
-
And our semi-custom line is a certified member of the Environmental Stewardship Program.
We are always happy to receive any feedback so that we can continue to get better.
