Abacus has been going through some changes –exciting ones– and we thought it was time we shared them with everyone.
For the last few years, our goal has been to build a strong production team and we’re happy to say that we’re there. We’ve brought on board a shop lead with over 20 years of experience in interpreting drawings, managing inventory, quality control, and to top it off he’s amazing at moving projects out the door in a timely manner.
We’ve been busy with an assortment of projects this year with face frame making a strong comeback and the European frameless cabinetry has never looked better with our new hot-air edgebander.
The newest expansion to our business is adding a semi-custom line as an alternative option in our portfolio. This beautiful product is for those looking at a different price range for their whole home cabinetry project or to complement their custom cabinetry. As much as we love custom, we wanted to meet everyone’s needs and this line has allowed us to do so. You can learn more about it here.
We save the best news for last. Terry McLain has come to Abacus hitting the ground running as our new partner and Director of Field Operations. Terry is building our very own in-house installation crew, allowing us to have more control over the final product and our process from start to finish.
